Hi friend – I’m so glad you’re here. Welcome to the podcast. Listen this episode is pretty short and sweet and I just wanted to share my favorite workout socks with you because no one likes socks that slip or rip or don’t last. Maybe you’ve already found a pair of socks that you’re head over heals obsessed with but if you’re still struggling to find the perfect pair then this episode is for you!

I’m not going to go super super in detail because at the end of the day, these are just socks we’re talking about. But I do feel like socks can make or break a workout.

And let’s be real – showing up to a workout is already tough enough.

So we might as well make it a tad bit easier for ourselves to show up by slipping into a no-brainer pair of socks.

Here are my two favorite sock brands. I love Bombas and I love Feetures. I’m linking my favorite socks in the description of this episode but as always friend. if you have any questions, please feel free to DM me on Instagram @thefitflamingo. I got you!

Both Bombas and Feetures are incredible brands that create socks for movement and athletic performance. They have all different types of socks for different activities like running and hiking and yoga and even compression socks and socks for things like Plantar Fasciitis relief. So if you go to their website, you can click the activity you’re looking for socks for, add em to your cart, and bam done. Pretty cool.

These socks are about $13-16 a pair which can seem like a lot at first but I will say that I have like 8 pairs of Bombas and Feetures in total and have been rotating through those 8 pairs for the last 3 years.

They really last a long time, offer a lot of support and cushion, and will help to wick moisture, keep your feet cool and dry, and even prevent blisters, which is a big win for those long runs, intense HIIT workouts, and hikes.

I think sometimes the price of things like this can feel intimidating. So a question I like to ask myself when I’m deciding whether or not to purchase something is, “what is it costing me not to have this thing.” 

Does that cost outweigh this cost?

If it does, it might feel worthwhile for me to spend the $16 dollars on a new pair of performance socks.

I will always say yes to things that help me feel empowered to show up for myself. Even something like having the right pair of socks makes me feel good. It helps me feel confident! Having the right pair of socks won’t instantly solve all your health and wellness problems but it sure does help me show up on the road to getting there and you know what, I’ll take all the help I can get!!
